Admission Notification (Under Choice Based Credit System Semester Scheme) for Under-Graduate Ist Semester of 2019.

In pursuance to University Admission Notification vide  F (Admn-NT-BG 1st & 2nd Semester’s) Reg/KU/19 Date: 17-01-2019 for  Under-Graduate 1st & 2nd Semester’s of 2019, it is notified for the  information of all the eligible  students that the Registration forms for admission to Under-Graduate 1st & 2nd Semester’s of 2019 under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Scheme of B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/B.C.A shall be available on the University website  from 19th of January 2019 to 02th of February 2019. The required formalities for admission are as under:-

  1. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination in full shall be eligible for admission to the course. However, for B.Sc/B.Com. (General) Programme (for students with non-commerce background) and BCA candidates having secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate in case of open merit and 40% marks in aggregate in case of reserved categories shall be eligible for admission.
  2. Registration Forms shall be generated on the basis of J&K Board Registration Number only. In case,candidate’s Registration Number is not available on the University Website, she shall haveto visit the University Information Centre of the College.
  3. Candidates, who have already appeared or are still appearing in 10+2 Examination of JKBOSE or any other Board including CBSE, or have applied for Re-evaluation and the final result is still awaited, can also  submit the online Registration Form through the concerned University Information Centre in the College .However, such candidates shall have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/-through  college payment receipt in J&K Bank T. P Branch Baramulla instead of Full Admission Fee and also submit an affidavit dulysworn in before the Judicial Magistrate (1st class) to the effect that she is seekingprovisional admission in the College on her own risk and responsibility and in case she fails to attain the required eligibility after the declaration of the qualifying examination result/re-evaluation result, her admission shall automatically stand cancelled. The candidates who attain the eligibility after the declaration of the result shall have to submit the required certificates along-with the Admission & Examination fee for first two semesters through online payment mode, within 10working days after attaining the eligibility.
  4. Candidate can choose any subject combination (specific to a Programme) offered by this College in tune with the UG-CBCS scheme of the University of Kashmir for the session 2019 and onwards. Candidates will not have to submit any examination form during the Academic Programme.
  5. Before filling up the Admission form, the students are advised to consult college Guidance & Counselling Cell on 25th& 26th  of January 2019, to seek guidance for selection of a particular Stream and Subject Combination .
  6. As per university statutes physically challenged and Orphan students, as evidenced by the requisite certificates from the concerned competent authorities, are exempt from payment of the examination fee only. However, they shall have to pay the Registration and allied fee as is applicable to other students.

Further. Admission forms cum college Prospectus are available in the college admission section and can be had against a cash payment of Rs 100.00 w.e.f  21-01-2019. The students are asked to approach admission committee for verification of admission forms between 11A.M. to 2:30 P.M on all working days w.e.f.  28-01-2019 to 11-02-2019.

The students are advised to deposit their College Admission fee in J&K Bank T.P Branch Baramulla on the pay-in Slip issued by college. In addition to college admission fee the students have to deposit University fee through challan which shall be auto generated after being registered on the university Website However specially-abled & orphan students, as evidenced by requisite certificates from the concerned competent authorities, are exempt from payment of Examination fee only .
